BWCA (Boundary Water Canoe Area): or

Guided canoe trips, campfires and stargazing are just the beginning. You may see the brilliant Northern Lights (aurora!) Dog sled and cross country ski in the wintertime, or experience the gorgeous fall foliage.


North American Bear Center:

A must see stop while visiting the BWCA, this museum lets people learn from bears themselves about bear behavior, ecology and their relations with humans.


International Wolf Center: or

Become fascinated with majestic wolves, as you see them interact through huge windows. This place is a museum, zoo, nature preserve and classroom all in one. You're guaranteed awesome wildlife close ups!


Itasca State Park:

This is the origin of the Mississippi River, where abundant cedar and pine trees cover pristine water and prairie. It is an awe-inspiring natural phenomenon, where American history is connected from Minnesota to the Gulf of Mexico. You can snow mobile and ice fish in the wintertime.


Pipestone National Monument:

You can expect beautiful and peaceful rock formations, artisans giving live demonstrations of pipe carving, and an interesting look into the sacred site for Native American people.


National Eagle Center:

This one of a kind center in all of the USA will excite every one of all ages. Great presentations, fantastic overlooks, wildlife education and you can have your picture taken right next to a bald eagle!


Great Lakes:

Lake Superior, remnant of the Ice Age, is one of the five Great Lakes. Duluth is the charming seaport city with access to Lake Superior and St. Lawrence River, connecting Minnesota with European countries from the early 1700s until today.
